Property management answer

Can one app manage long-term and short-term rentals?

Share context, not transaction types

Long-term rentals need leases, deposits, recurring rent, and renewals. Short-term rentals need arrivals, departures, blocked dates, cleaner turns, and rapid inspections. The shared layer is the property, people, work, documents, money, and owner visibility.

Let dates create accountable work

A checkout should surface a cleaner turn. A move-out should surface inspection, maintenance, deposit, and leasing tasks. An owner stay should block availability.

Understand calendar limits

iCal helps exchange dates but is not a full channel manager. Keep native channel alerts enabled and document how the team handles delayed updates.
